The editors are the ones who create the film's final draft in the editing room. If an editor does his/her job correctly, you won't even notice they've done anything. Ah, producers. They're the ones who do all the work, but get none of the credit. Almost like the antithesis of the director. Career producers are on the endangered list, so if you find one, please cover it with a blanket and contact your local film funding body. It takes a lot of guts to be an independent producer in Australia, and the following people have guts coming out of their... erm, guts.
Writing is perhaps the only profession that people learn before they hit pre-school. Yet despite this, it's strange that good writing is such a rarity. It's the new voices in film that are grabbing all of the attention, and it's not hard to see why. After all, what would films be without writers?
